Built for [Client Business Name] — real store, real inventory.
DealDash is the online storefront for [Client Business Name]'s actual stock: 145 line items across audio, kitchen, computing, power & smart home, beauty & grooming, and tools — roughly $20,000–$25,000 of real inventory. Every quantity and price on this site comes from the store's own inventory report. Nothing here is a placeholder.
The problem
[Client Business Name] had the goods — shelves of real, valuable inventory — but no storefront. Selling happened through DMs, spreadsheets, and word of mouth: slow, easy to get wrong, and invisible to anyone who wasn't already asking. Quantities lived in one place, prices in another, and photos nowhere at all.
What was built
DealDash: a fast, mobile-first storefront where every product page shows the real quantity and the real price from the inventory report — and nothing else. The design decisions are deliberate:
- Honest urgency only. "Only 1 left" appears only when there is literally one left. No fake countdown timers, no inflated "was" prices, no pressure tricks — ever.
- One-tap WhatsApp ordering. The entire checkout is a pre-filled WhatsApp message: item, quantity, price in USD. The store confirms availability and delivery in chat, like a real shopkeeper.
- Real photos, honestly labeled. Items show their actual photos; where a photo isn't ready yet, the site says "Photo coming soon" instead of faking it.
- Deal of the Day. One real deal rotates in every morning, picked automatically from eligible items — no manual work, no fake scarcity.
How the client runs it themselves
No developer needed, no code changes, ever. Through the on-site owner login, [Client Business Name] manages everything:
- Add, edit, and delist products, prices, and quantities.
- Flag featured items for the New Drops carousel and mark Deal of the Day–eligible stock.
- Set the store's WhatsApp number in Store settings — that's what every order button talks to.
- Orders arrive as WhatsApp chats, ready to confirm and fulfill.
The site is plain static files on dependable shared hosting, with a managed database behind the admin panel — it loads fast on a phone and keeps working without babysitting.
